Botox
When Botox is injected, it blocks certain nerve signals that make muscles contract. The muscles relax, reducing unwanted wrinkles. This effect lasts about 3–6 months. After that, the muscles move again and wrinkles come back. Repeat treatments will be needed to help prevent wrinkles from reappearing.
Dysport
Dysport is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines or frown lines in adult patients less than 65 years of age. Dysport functions like botox, in which it relaxes the muscles under your skin so the area becomes smoother.
Decreasing movement is meant to prevent the formation or deepening of wrinkles, which are caused by repetitive movement over time, along with heredity and aging.
Results may be seen within a few days but will wear off after 3-4 months. Retreatment is needed to maintain results.
